TY-S10 Optical Smoke Detector
A 10-year-battery smoke detector linked to the panel and monitored at the centre.
- 10-year battery
- Monitored at the centre
The TY-S10 is an optical smoke detector working on the light-scattering principle. Unlike standalone detectors it also signals the panel and monitoring centre when you are not home.
Why it matters
In home fires the main danger is breathing smoke while asleep. When smoke density reaches the threshold the detector sounds an 85 dB warning and informs the centre.
In kitchens a heat detector is recommended to avoid false alarms.
