Product Code: TY-GAS
TY-GAS Natural Gas/LPG Detector
Detects gas leaks and offers an optional valve shut-off output.
- Valve shut-off output
- Audible alert
The TY-GAS is a semiconductor-sensor detector for natural gas (methane) and LPG (propane-butane) leaks. Natural gas is light so it is mounted near the ceiling; LPG is heavy so it goes close to the floor.
Valve shut-off
It can be connected to a compatible motorised gas valve through a wireless relay; when a leak is detected the valve closes automatically and a signal goes to the centre.
Sensor life is about five years; calibration is checked at the annual service.
